CLIENT

Petromil is one of the main actors in the energy, oil & gas industry in Colombia. They have operations and clients nation-wide, and are one of the key members in the oil & gas supply chain in the country.

CHALLENGE

There were several challenges in the marketing and communications departments:

They were planning their national annual convention for their clients, a 4-days event for over 700 people from all over the country.

The company was in the middle of a rebranding process and needed to communicate the new image and goals to their employees and clients.

SOLUTION

After understanding their internal dynamics, the rebranding reasons and their new business goals as a Corporate Holding, we started working with them to help them with their needs in each department.

EVENTS PLANNING AND EXECUTION

First, we helped them organize and plan their national annual convention for more than 700 clients, in a 4-days event framed within Barranquilla’s Carnival, one of the most important celebrations in the country.  With time against us, we joined forces with their Branding Agency, a Transportation Company and a Logistic Operator. We worked hard to help them close contracts, organize each particular event on each day, figure out entire logistics and accommodations, and other important features so those 4 days were a complete success.

During the 4 days of the sales convention, their clients attended corporate conferences, networking spaces and private events and parties. Everyone received custom-made souvenirs and gifts, and enjoyed exclusive all-access tickets to the most important Carnival events and parties.

We helped them to handle speakers, singers, artists and performers for each day. Everyone worked for over 20 hours each day, making sure everything was perfect and everyone was having an amazing brand experience.

ENDOMARKETING AND INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

As the rebranding process took place, the company also renewed its core values and its business goals. The main challenge was to make sure everyone in the company knew what was going on, what were the new objectives and how they could contribute to make them real.

DISCOVERY SESSIONS

We started collaborating with their Branding Agency to do several discovery sessions to develop activities and internal events to make the information available for everyone. Petromil has employees virtually everywhere in the country, so we had to think of ways to empower everybody no matter where they were located.

STRATEGIC CONTENTS

After the initial discovery sessions, we helped them to organize activities and communication pieces to spread the word around the company. We worked closely on the strategic contents and the core messages to let people know what was happening in an engaging way, and their Branding Agency translated that into beautiful visual pieces.

FINAL RESULT

As a result of the process, they were able to deliver campaigns, activities, e-mail templates and newsletters, banners, stickers, buttons, flyers and other communication pieces to every employee of the Corporate Holding. They were able to develop a complete internal communication process.

STRATEGIC CONTENTS FOR ONLINE CHANNELS

The renovation included the brand and logo, corporate values, business goals and the creation of a Corporate Holding to bring together all their companies. The corporate message and vision also changed, thus, we had to make some changes to the external communication process.
